Each prospective tenant passes through a detailed application process that involves, contacting current and past landlords, verification of employment, credit and criminal background checks.


All tenants sign the North Carolina Association of Realtors, Residential Rental Contract, Maintenance Addendum, Pet Addendum, Utility Addendum, and The Stokley Property Management Tenant Handbook. All available to preview upon request.

Maintenance Service

Timely, competent maintenance protects your investment. We, respond quickly to tenant and owner maintenance request, recommend preventive maintenance, negotiate and manage contracted services, and provide a 24-hour emergency contact.

Investment Strategy

Stokley Property Management investment services assists the investor in every step of procuring a property. We represent and advise clients all over Southeastern North Carolina on acquisitions of single-family homes, multi-family homes, developments, and communities.


Stokley Property Management minimizes potential problems with a direct line of communication between owner and tenant, and any other entity including homeowner’s associations.


Timely and accurate financial reports with descriptive narratives are made available by the 15th day of the following month so investors know the performance of their properties. All security deposits are held in a trust account and will be disbursed accordingly at the end of the leasing period. Monthly rents will be sent out on the 15th of every month or deposited into your account through the ACH transfer service. Copies of all work orders and receipts are kept on file throughout the year. Our office retains original receipts.


Inspections play an integral part in the management process at Stokley Property Management; drive-by inspections to evaluate the exterior of the property, an optional detailed property inspection is available for a nominal fee, move-in and move-out inspections conducted to ensure there is no damage to investor’s property, and to make appropriate deductions from security deposits.
